BRIEF REFLECTIONS ON THE UFG – JATAÍ CAMPI’S INTERNATIONALIZATION

Resumo

Globalization has reached immense proportions in commercial aspects and it has extended to science, where it manifests itself through the internationalization of higher education institutions. The purpose of this article is to present and discuss internationalization at the Federal University of Goiás (UFG) – Jataí Campi by presenting the history of the Coordination of International Affairs at UFG; and by describing the existing exchange programs, showing the rate of the student's community participation in them. In addition, we will evaluate and discuss the prospects of Jataí Campi regarding its internationalization, focusing on its participation in international exchange programs and the number of disciplines taught in English.

Márcio Issamu Yamamoto, Universidade Federal de Uberlândia

Docente do curso de Letras Inglês da Universidade Federal de Goiás, Regional Jataí. Possui graduação em Letras, Licenciatura Plena Português-Inglês pela Universidade Federal de Uberlândia (2006) e graduação em Letras, Licenciatura Plena Português-Francês pela Universidade Federal de Uberlândia (2011). Aluno de mestrado do Programa de Pós-graduação em Estudos Linguísticos da Universidade Federal de Uberlândia, conceito Capes 4.
