The Latin American Human Rights Studies (LAHRS) organizes its workflow according to the following roles and duties. Our journal has a permanent editor-in-chief and editorial board. In contrast, the thematic section organizers, executive board and reviewers vary every volume.

  • ROLES AND DUTIES
    • Editor-in-chief: directs the whole journal.
    • Editorial board: gives support and consultancy to the editor-in-chief regarding fundamental topics of the journal.
    • Thematic Section Organizer: proposes and manages the workflow of the thematic section and is responsible for suggesting reviewers and choosing the team member for the thematic section.
    • Executive board: responsible for the routine workflow of the journal such as translation, proofreading, editing, formatting, communicating with authors and other administrative tasks.
    • Reviewers: invited scholars that provide a high-quality scientific assessment of the submitted articles based on the double-blind peer review system.
