About the Journal

The Latin American Human Rights Studies (LAHRS) is an open access, online and annual publication by the PhD Program in Human Rights of the Federal University of Goias, Brazil. This scientific periodical aims at promoting the dissemination of high-quality interdisciplinary research on human rights through the double-blind peer review system, in order to meet international publishing standards. We publish a single volume per year with at least two thematic sections organized by experienced scholars in the field. Each thematic section has its own deadline for submissions and the articles are published continuously, as soon as they get approved. Before submitting a manuscript, please have a look at the calls for papers. The journal is focused on scientific articles, but reviews, translations and interviews are also welcome.
