Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The contribution is original and unpublished, and is not being evaluated for publication by another journal. Otherwise, it must be justified in "Comments to the Editor."

  • The submission file is in Microsoft Office Word (.doc) or Latex format (.tex).

  • The text should follow the template formatting available.

  • It should be made blind peer review described in the link : Assuring Blind Peer Review.

  • Submitted papers should be in English.

Author Guidelines

Authors should follow the submission template available in Microsoft Office Word (.doc) or Latex format (.tex). The authors may opt for one of these formats. The template brings all the paper formatting, such as structure, text layout, references, etc. The templates can be downloaded via the link:

Items must be in Portuguese or English.

The paper in .pdf format generated in Microsoft Office Word or Latex should be sent in STEP 2.

If you choose to use Latex, authors should also send additional files (class, packages, figures and .tex file) through a compressed (.zip) file in Step 4 of the submission process. If Microsoft Office Word used, the .doc file with the figures should be sent in Step 4 through a compressed file (.zip).
Use of Latex is widely encouraged. All papers accepted for publication in Microsoft Office Word format will be converted to latex format by the Editor. If you are interested in using the Latex, install the following programs:

Ps.: After installing the program, open the nomedoautorREVVIVA.tex file and edit the article. To generate the document, click Build current file (Ctrl + F7).
