Abstract

The process for rape started by Teresa Laso against colonel José Concha shows some not much discussed aspects of the Independence: the expression legally written referred to as cries, speeches, groans and silence, loaded of resentment. The process goes on while the war feeds more resentment, asking for more and more soldiers, cattle, horses, supplies, money.
